ShinHan Professional Petroleum is a professional-grade solvent developed to reduce the viscosity of oil colors for smoother application, underpainting and brush cleaning. Its fast evaporation makes it particularly suitable for lean painting layers and the early stages of oil painting. For traditional painting applications, prepare a painting medium by mixing a drying oil, such as Linseed Oil or Poppy Oil, with Petroleum in an approximate 1:1 ratio. Add the prepared medium gradually to the paint according to the desired consistency while following the ''fat over lean'' principle to maintain a durable paint film.
